Stone Design & Sculpture

I am a designer working at the intersection of natural stone, light, and functional design. Using premium onyx and fluorite, I handcraft luminous objects that serve as both sculptural art and practical home décor. Each piece celebrates the inherent beauty of these translucent minerals—their unique veining, subtle color shifts, and ability to interact with light in transformative ways.

My process begins with carefully selected slabs and boulders of onyx and fluorite. I cut, drill, shape, polish, and assemble them into functional shapes that harness and diffuse light: warm-glowing lamps, elegant light towers, backlit mirrors and wall panels, luminous bowls, glasses and trays. Whether softly illuminated from within or catching ambient light, these works create an atmosphere of calm sophistication and quiet wonder. The natural translucency of the stone allows light to travel through it, revealing hidden depths, delicate patterns, and an almost ethereal glow that changes throughout the day and night.

I believe functional objects can—and should—be art. My sculptures bridge the gap between everyday utility and contemplative beauty, turning routine moments (pouring a drink, checking one’s reflection, lighting a room) into experiences of material poetry. The rich, organic qualities of onyx and fluorite ground each piece in the earth while the integration of light elevates it into something magical and contemporary.
